Spreading over an impressive 1,060m2, Bottega Veneta brings luxury shopping to the next level. Located in the upmarket via SantÁndrea 15, the Italian fashion brand’s first maison carries the most extensive range of its fashion and lifestyle products including men and women’s ready-to-wear, leather goods, furniture and household accessories. This is Bottega Veneta’s second store in Milan’s most exclusive shopping belt, Quadrilatero della Moda. The first store is located just round the corner at via Montenapoleone 5.

For any true blue BV fan, it is a must to pay pilgrimage to this remarkably well-designed store. Creative director Tomas Maier paid attention to every detail and ensured that the store’s design stays true to its discreet luxury DNA.

The men’s section occupies about two fifths of the ground level while the women’s section occupies the remaining area. There is even a small pond located within the women’s section. On the second floor, it houses mainly the houseware accessories and jewellery. And the back of the maison overlooks a beautifully manicured garden.

Of course, the service is impeccable. Davide, the sales associate who attended to me, brought out almost everything that I could ever wanted. Drinks served when I browsed through the products. When a pair of shoes was not available in my size, they took less than 15 minutes to bring it to the maison. Espresso, coke, water and champagne were served when I was there and at no point, I was made to feel that I’m obliged to buy anything.

Of course, any resistance is futile. I opened up my wallet and gave in to my indulgence. No regrets. Because this is the ultimate shopping experience.
